You will need a visa for Kenya. visas are available on entry but it is advisable to obtain these beforehand.
A valid certificate of insurance is essential for the trip and will be checked on joining the party
We recommend vaccinations against yellow fever, infectious hepatitis, tetanus, diphtheria, typhoid and polio. You should also consider immunisation against meningococcal meningitis and you should check with your local clinic also about Malaria tablets.
Take most of your money in Kenyan shillings, ATM machines are available. Most expenses are covered except for hotel / and meals at the beginning and end of the trip. Money will only be required for souvenirs, snacks and drinks and any additional trips (e.g. trip to Masai Village at approx. £5 per person.)
This is usual for local staff for special services, and the cook and driver at the end of the trip.
All food is supplied throughout the trip and prepared by our cook - breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner. (Hotel Meals at the beginning and end of the trip are not included)
3 Season sleeping bag, head torch, water bottle, sunhat and sunscreen and binoculars are all essentials and should be no more than 15kg. Clothing should be lightweight. Layers recommended as temperatures do vary during the trip.
Warm fleece and waterproof Mac, for early morning game drives. Warm wear for the occasional cold nights, safari trousers with zip off legs. Footwear - light walking boots, trainers and sandals.
