Masai Mara is the most famous of Kenya's game parks, particularly for the great wildebeest migration is July/August. There is a chance of seeing all of the “big 5” here, elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, and rhino. Also a chance to meet the Masai and visit a Masai village.
DAY 1
Leave Nairobi and travel through the great Rift Valley. Lunch en route. Evening game drive and camp overnight.
DAY 2
Day at the park game viewing.
DAY 3
Game drive in the morning and then depart for Nairobi arriving late afternoon.

This trip can be extended to give an extra days game viewing in the park
This safari takes us north of Nairobi, past Mount Kenya and other mountain ranges, to Samburu National Park. The Ewaso Niro river supports many animals and some of the more unusual ones include grevys zebra, reticulated giraffe, oryx and the gerenuk or giraffe gazelle. We can also visit a Samburu village and meet the Samburu people.
DAY 1
Drive to Samburu enjoying views of Mount Kenya and other mountain ranges, including Aberdares.
DAY 2
Day viewing game in the park.
DAY 3
Game drive in the early morning and then depart for Nairobi, arriving late afternoon. Lunch en route.
(DAY 4)
We can extend this trip to provide an extra days game viewing in the park.
Amboseli is south of Nairobi on the border of Tanzania. From Amboseli, the views of Kilimanjaro and Magnificent. Melt waters from the mountain create a swampland in the park and many animals/birds including elephant can be seen grazing the the swamps.
DAY 1
Drive south from Nairobi through the land of the Masai, arriving in Amboseli at lunchtime. Lunch and evening game drive.
DAY 2
Day viewing game in the park.
DAY 3
Game drive the the morning and then drive back to Nairobi with lunch en route.
(DAY 4) This trip can be extended to give an extra days game viewing in the park.
We visit the Mount Kenya region via the coffee plantations and lush vegetation of the highlands to the camp site at Mount Kenya, where we take a walk to the Mau Mau caves with guides. Then on to Samburu where the scenery changes from lush vegetation to savannah plains. We can view some of the more unusual animals such as grevys zebra, oryx and gerenuk or giraffe gazelle along with many other animals and some beautiful birds.
DAY 1
Travel north from Nairobi to Mount Kenya through lush vegetation, and beautiful countryside views. Take a walk with a guide to see the Mau Mau caves.
DAY 2
Travel on to Samburu, lunch at the campsite and evening game drive.
DAY 3
A day spent game viewing in the park.
DAY 4
Morning game drive and then back to Nairobi with lunch en route.
This safari combines Nakuru National Park with its millions of flamingoes and other birds (rhinos are also likely to be seen), with Masai Mara, the most famous of Kenyas game parks, where there is a chance of seeing all ot the “big 5”. We can also visit a Masai village and meet the people.
DAY 1
Leave Nairobi in the morning viewing the magnificent scenery of the Great Rift Valley, arriving in Nakuru for lunch. Game drive in the park viewing the flamingoes and many other birds and animals.
DAY 2
Drive to Masai Mara with lunch en route, arriving in Mara in time for an evening game drive.
DAY 3
Day spent viewing game in the park.
DAY 4
A second day spent game viewing in the park. Visit to a Masai village.
DAY 5
Game drive in the morning and then return to Nairobi with lunch en route.
This trip travels south to Amboseli, famous for its many elephants and magnificent views of Mount Kilimanjaro. The whole of day 2 is spent game driving in the park, where we are likely to see, elephant, buffalo, lion, cheetah, wildebeest, hyena, jackal, zebra and Masai giraffe.
We proceed to Tsavo West, visiting the Chyulu Hills and Mzima Springs to see crocodiles and hippos. The whole of day 4 we spend exploring the park.
We then proceed to Tsavo East famous for its "red" elephants (due to the soil in the area they are covered in red dust). We also visit Lugard Falls and Mudana Rocks and Aruba Dam if time.
On the last day we take a last game drive as we leave the park and head for Mombassa. This trip is ideal for people who want to spend some time on the beaches of Mombassa after the trip.
We travel to Lake Naivasha. This is not too long a trip for the first day. That afternoon we can do a leisurely nature walk among the giraffes, oryx, zebra, waterbuck and wildebeest (no lions!). There is also a lot of bird life there including pelicans, ibis, flamingoes etc. It is where they filmed "Out of Africa" so the scenery is very beautiful.
Drive to Lake Baringo. This is a world famous bird sanctuary, and in the late afternoon we can do a boat trip to see the hippos and crocodiles in the lake. The sunset is fantastic!
Head for Lake Nakuru and on the way we stop at Lake Bogoria where there are boiling hot springs and geysers. It is quite spectacular and there is lots of steam and water bubbling. You can explore on foot and there are a sizeable number of flamingoes there too. Arrive at Nakuru in the afternoon and visit Nakuru National Park with over 2 million flamingoes. It is also a good place to see rhinos,and a host of other animals and birds.
Head for Masai country and arrive at the camp site in the afternoon. Either game drive on the way in or later depending on the time of arrival.
Two days of exploring the Masai Mara doing game drives, visiting Masai villages etc, etc. game drives are usually done in the early morning and late afternoon as that is the best time to see the animals. In the afternoon we usually relax in the sun, or take a shower etc, etc. There is a lot to see in Mara, elephants, zebra, rhino, lions, cheetahs and leopards, if you are lucky and of course taking in the Masai culture.
Slowly pack up or things and begin the trip home, taking a last game drive on the way out. We can stop at souvenir shops if people want to buy things.
This trip travels through the Great Rift Valley with its magnificent views, to Lake Naivasha where we take a nature walk amount giraffes, wildebeest, zebras and other animals (no lions!). Day 2 takes us to Lake Baringo via Lake Bogoria with its amazing boiling hot springs and geysers. On reaching Baringo in late afternoon a sunset boat ride to see the hippos and crocodiles.
Day 4 takes us to Nakuru where we visit Nakuru National Park which has more than 2 million flamingoes and many animal including rhino.
We then go on to Mt Kenya region. Afternoon game drive at Swetwaters game ranch to see the wildlife including chimps. This is a sanctuary for rehabilitation of chimps and involves two different groups.
We then proceed to Samburu to do some serious game viewing.
This is a safari to a more remote region in the North of Kenya. As well as game viewing there is an opportunity to meet people from many northern tribes, including Gabra, Rendile, Samburu, Turkana and El Molo tribes.
This trip heads North to Samburu. The whole of day 2 is spent exploring the park. Among the many animals we see will be lion, reticulated giraffe, Greys zebra, gerenuk and oryx.
Day 3 takes us to Marsabit where we will visit the lodge which is situated on the edge of a water filled crater. Many animals come to drink here and we have the opportunity to see them from the Lodge. If it is dry we can also see Lake Paradise (if wet the road is impassable).
Day 4 - we go on to Kalacha on the edge of the desert and camp overnight. There is a swimming pool. On day 5 we cross the desert to Lake Turkana and camp at Loyongolani. The next day we can spend relaxing or take a boat trip to see the El Molo tribe. We pay a visit to the town of Leyongolani and meet the people. Turkana dancing or a visit to a Turkana Manyatta can be arranged.
We make our way to Maralal on day 6 via South Horr and Baragoi. This is a much forested area and we will see many Samburu people in their striking tribal dress.
On the last day we head back to Nairobi via the spectacular Thompson Falls - a 72 metre high waterfall near Nyahururu.
This trip travels through the Mount Kenya region of rich agricultural farmland and on to the open Savannah plains of Samburu Game Reserve. We take a game drive on the way to the campsite and spend the next day game driving in the Reserve.
On day 3 we leave Samburu and descend to the floor of the Great Rift Valley arriving at Lake Baringo in the afternoon. We then take a boat trip across the lake to see the hippos and crocodiles. This is a marvelous place for bird watching.
The next day we head south for Nakuru via Lake Bogoria with its spectacular boiling hot springs and geysers. There are also a number of flamingoes on the lake. We camp overnight at Nakuru and in the morning we move on towards Masai Mara.
Day 6 and 7 are spent viewing the amazing wildlife in the Mara. We can arrange a visit to a Masai village and some Masai dancing and singing if people wish it.
Return to Nairobi with a last game drive on the way out.

Drive from Nairobi to Mount Kenya region passing through the rich agrecultural farmland on the slopes of Mount Kenya. Nature walk in the afternoon to the Mau Mau caves.
DAY 2 SAMBURU
Depart from Mount Kenya and then into the dry scrubbland and open Savannah plains of Samburu Game Reserve. The Ewaso Nyiro River supports a wide variety of game, among them elephants, buffalo, cheetah, leopard, lion, grevys zebra, reticulated giraffe, oryx and the long necked gerenuk. Camp in Samburu
DAY 3 SAMBURU
Day spent game viewing in the park. A visit to a Samburu village can be arranged at small extra cost (About £6)
DAY 4 NAKURU
In the early morning we head south to Lake Nakuru. This is another soda lake, and here one has the opportunity to see up to 2 million flamingoes and thousands of other birds. Lake Nakuru also has rhinos, lons, warthogs, buffaloes, hoppo and many other animals. We camp just outside Nakuru.
DAY 4 AMBOSELI
Drive south to Amboseli arriving the the earaly afternoon. We view game as we proceed to the campsite.
DAY 5 AMBOSELI
Day spent exploring this park with the magnificent snow capped Mt Kilimanjaro in the background. The waters from melted snow drain down the mountain under lava flows and surface on the Ambosei plains. Here elephant, hippo, buffalo and giraffe are likely to be seen among many other animals.
DAY 6 TSAVO WEST
Leave for Tsavo West National Park. Visit the Chylulu Hills and the Mzima Springs, which are favourite haunts for both the hippo and crocodile, which can be seen from an underwater observation chamber.
DAY 7 TSAVO WEST
Day spent exploring the park including the nature trails.
DAY 8 TSAVO EAST
We cross over to Tsavo East. This park is famous for its herds of elephant, known as red elephants as they are covered in the red soil of the Tsavo. We visit Lugard Falls, Mudana Rocks and Aruba Dam we we view game.
Day 9 TSAVO EAST
Day spent exploring the park.
DAY 10 NAIROBI
From this point we can either return to Nairobi or carry on to Mombassa where it is also possible to fly home or spend a few days on the beach. We can help you to arrange your hotel.

DAY 4 BARINGO
Leaving Samburu in the early morning, we make a scenic drive to the west across the Lerochi Plateau, (Lunch en route) and later descend to the floor of the Great Rift Valley, arriving at Lake Baringo the the afternoon. This is a fresh water lake which supports a great variety of birds as well as hippos and crocodiles. Evening (sunset) boat ride to see the hippos and crocodiles and birds.
DAY 5 LAKE NAKURU
In the early morning we head south to Lake Nakuru. This is another soda lake, and here one has the opportunity to see up totwo million flamingoes and thousands of othr birds. Lake Nakuru also has rhinos, lions, warthogs, waterbucks, buffaloes, hippo and many other animals. We camp just outside Nakuru.
DAY 6 MASAI MARA
We head further south to Narok camping near the Talek River at the edge of the Park. Game drive on the way intothe park.
DAY 7 and 8 MARA
From the base camp we explore the Mara region, packed with elephandt, >zebra, lion, and antelopes etc etc. You will get to meet the Masai and we can arrange a visit to a Masai village also if required ( cost about £6).
DAY 9 MARA
We break camp and drive to Nairobi having a last game drive on the way out of the Masai Mara. We arrive at your Nairobi hotel I the afternoon.
DAY 10 NAIROBI
We take you on a city tour of your choice. There are many interesting places to visit and we can discuss this on safari.
DAY 1 MASAI MARA
Drive to Masai Mara with lunch en route and a game drive on the way into the park. We camp near the Talek river at the edge of the park.

DAY 4 NAKURU
We head towards Lake Nakuru. This is a soda lake and is famous for its millions of flamingoes all along the lakeside, and many other birds. Lake Nakuru also has rhinos, lions, warthogs, waterbucks, buffaloes, hippo etc. We camp just outside Nakuru.
DAY 5 BARINGO
Today we drive north to Lake Baringo and arrive in the afternoon. This is a fresh water lake and we take a boat ride in the evening (sunset) to see the hippos and crocodiles. Nakuru is a bird lovers paradise and there are lots of colourful birds which come to the camp site.
DAY 6 SAMBURU
We make a scenic drive east across the Lerochi Plateau (lunch en route) and arrive at Samburu in the afternoon. Evening game drive in the park. The Ewaso Nyiro river supports a wide variety of game, among them elephants, buffalo, cheetah, leopard, lion, grevys zebra, reticulated giraffe, oryx and the long necked gerenuk. Camp in Samburu.
DAY 7 SAMBURU
Another day spent exploring the park and a visit to a samburu village at a small extra cost can be aranged (approx £6).
DAY 8 MOUNT KENYA
Drive south to Mount Kenya. At Mount Kenya we do a walk to the Mau Mau caves with guides
Day 9 AMBOSELI

For those people who like the idea of an adventure safari, but are not keen on sleeping in tents – we can combine adventure and comfort - rooms or bandas can be made available at an extra cost of around £10 per person per night. These are clean and comfortable and have shower and toilet.
